Southern Multifoods, Inc. was established in 1976 in Jacksonville, Texas, and became a franchisee of Taco Bell Corporation in 1984. SMI continues today to be committed to exceed standards in operation of Taco Bell, KFC, Pizza Hut Express, Long John Silvers and A&W restaurants.
